Christmas Elves in the Central SANG
Calling all Elf Detectives
We have heard reports that playful Christmas Elves are heading to the Central SANGs again from 16th to 22nd December.
We need some help checking up on them to make sure they are not getting into too much mischief. So why not have a festive walk through the Central SANGs and see who you spot playing in the trees!
The elves mentioned that they love receiving letters. If you would like to send them a letter or a drawing, they would certainly write back and send a little Christmas gift!
Please send letters to: The Christmas Elves, Mindenhurst Project Office, Newfoundland Road, Deepcut, GU16 6SR. Alternatively just send a photo of your letter to hello@mindenhurst.co.uk and we will pass it on.
Don’t forget to share pictures of your elf hunt with us on Facebook at Facebook/MindenhurstDeepcut.
Christmas Tree Recycling
Don’t forget to drop off your Christmas tree at our recycling point after Christmas.
We’ll recycle and reuse them on the development, so, if you want your Christmas tree to have a lasting place at Mindenhurst then please bring it to one of our two recycling points. We will be collecting trees between 26th December and 8th January.
If you need help just email us at hello@mindenhurst.co.uk and we can arrange for it to be collected after 4th Jan.
The map below shows the two locations of our tree recycling point, one outside our project office in Newfoundland Road, and the other in the carpark on Brunswick Road just opposite the entrance to Ridges Rise.
Construction Update December 2022
Hannah’s New York Trip
As part of her work on our Junior Leadership Team, Hannah – Mindenhurst’s Environmental Advisor – had the opportunity to visit our Building Team in New York.
It was a great opportunity to learn all about the work we do in the US, and a chance for the two teams to share knowledge and learn from one another.
Hannah delivered a presentation on how at our team looks after staff’s mental health, sharing the work our mental health ambassadors do on a daily basis and the training we provide to our staff – this talk was part of an initiative to share our leading mental health awareness scheme.
The group had a jam packed visit, including visits to the Penn Station upgrade works and Moynihan Train Hall, St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church which sits on the 9/11 memorial campus, North Shore University Hospital, the upgraded Empire State Guest Experience, and The Oculus.
