Planning news
At Mindenhurst, we are delighted to announce that three key infrastructure projects have been approved by the Planning Applications Committee at Surrey Heath Borough Council.
This includes the construction of a new community hall as part of the wider development. This facility will be connected to the historic St Barbara’s Church and will prove to be a valuable asset for the local community, helping to preserve the church for future generations. The development is also delivering major restoration work on the church, which will be handed to the care of the Guildford Diocese of the Church of England once the work is completed.
The second is focused on making environmental improvements to Deepcut Bridge Road, the plans for this project were revised in response to feedback from local traders and community groups and we’re pleased that these proposals have been approved.
Finally, the detail of the Southern SANG and SANGS link application has been approved, this includes access, layout, scale, appearance, landscaping, our ecological (management) strategy, and tree retention and protection plans.
What happens next?
In the coming months, the proposals for the provision of Allotments, the Northern ANGST, the Formal Park and finally the Sports Hub are due to come to the planning committee for approval. Follow us on Facebook or check back here for updates.
